// about me

A portrait of you.

Introduction

When I had the idea to start a web design agency, I took inspiration from friends I admire, books I love, and other brands that are cut of the same cloth. I knew I wanted to build a brand that helped people step out and find their voice and be who they are in fullness, helping to tell the story they’ve always wanted to tell.

Inspiration

Things that particularly inspire me are the right-to-repair movement, companies like WESN knives, and The Red Hat Factory ~ beanie company, and John  Mark Comer’s  The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry.

The Heart of Ringtail

You know what drives me nuts? When a company makes something genuinely great, but the way they show up doesn’t tell the story. The product has soul, but the brand feels like a shrug.

Every brand that’s ever made me actually want to buy from them has two things: they do the work well, and they tell the truth well.

HEB is a perfect example. I don’t just buy from them because the food is good. I buy because they’ve proven, through how they treat their people and their community, that they can be trusted. That trust matters to me, especially with stuff like meat and seafood. Their story shows up in their standards, and it makes the product feel safe.

WESN is another one. Is my little microblade the sharpest knife I own? No. But it’s genuinely cool, and the company has heart. They offer a lifetime warranty, which is almost absurd in 2026. That kind of care makes you want to root for them. It makes the product feel like it belongs to something bigger than a transaction.

That’s the kind of brand work I’m obsessed with: helping good companies show up like themselves, clearly and boldly, so the right people can recognize them.

The War

A portrait of you.

I’m constantly torn between two worlds.

One part of me wants ultra high-tech: downtown Austin, neon lights, clean surfaces, sleek edges, a house and a car that look like they were pulled straight out of Tron.

The other part of me wants the opposite: beach days, a tiny hut, a hammock, no AC, fishing for food, bonfires at night, and a life built from the community around me. Local, sustainable, simple. Offline as much as possible.

The truth is, I’m both. I’m chasing a blend: high-tech where I need it, no-tech where I can. Windows down in the Texas summer, sun on my skin, breeze in the cab, a little sweat as proof I’m alive.

The Why

A portrait of you.

I want to look back at my life and think, that was a life well lived.

Not perfect. Not polished. But full. Full of people loved well, places explored, work done with integrity, stewardship, and real impact.

And if I can help a company that’s doing something good reach not just more people, but the right people, and do it with clarity and heart, then I have to do it. I owe it to the world to help the brands that matter show up like they mean it.

That’s the Ringtail way. Not just my work, but my way of life.

Let’s Connect & build something that matters.

Drop the basics and a quick note.
